Danton Expands to Edinburgh

Danton is expanding into Edinburgh with our new office in the city. It’s an exciting time for our team and our clients, that we’re able to offer this new service in Scotland.  A lot of work has gone into this new location, and it is a testament to the hard work of the team and the level of trust our clients put into us, that we can grow as a business in this way.  

Jay Todd, HR Business Partner, is the face of the new Danton Edinburgh office. You may already know Jay as she’s been a part of our Danton team for the past two years. Jay has been working hard with Directors, Nicola and Duncan Roke to bring this new venture to life.

A New Partnership 

Jay has been working as a consultant in Edinburgh for several years, working closely with businesses. By bringing Jay in as part of Danton, it means our proven ways of working are delivered to clients, no matter where they are based. As an integral part of the business, Danton Edinburgh will be operating alongside our Midlands office.

Edinburgh & Lothians HR support 

Jay Todd has been supporting Edinburgh businesses with HR services since 2014 and ran a private consultancy before joining the Danton team. Edinburgh businesses can benefit from Jay’s expertise in the local area while also accessing support from our wider team.  

This means organisations in Edinburgh can get expert support on their complex HR matters alongside their HR needs.  

“I’m excited to start this new chapter for Danton,” explains Jay, “and I’m also looking forward to meeting Edinburgh business owners to find out how Danton can support them to reach their business goals. 

Edinburgh HR and Training for Managers 

One of the biggest changes that we’re bringing to Edinburgh is offering our training and development courses and programmes. The same training that we offer in our Head Office is also available to businesses in Edinburgh, including our Managing People Fundamentals Programme.  

This means that your managers can benefit from proven, effective training and be confident in their role from day one. Our training empowers your managers to make decisions and reduces the chance of issues getting out of hand. 

Edinburgh HR Events 

We are launching the venture with a free employment law event on 11 March 2025 at Pure Offices, Leith. This is an opportunity for local Edinburgh businesses to find out more about what Danton has to offer, get tips on the employment law changes, and network with other business owners.  

“I’ll be holding regular events for business owners in Edinburgh to support with changes and the key pressure points within business. These are also a chance to get to know other business owners and ask any questions,” says Jay.
